
Lucas joined Semetis in September 2025 as a Digital Business Analyst after being one of the winners of the “Semetis Game” earlier that year.
He graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the KU Leuven, having picked majors in the field of marketing throughout his studies. During this period, Lucas worked two student jobs at finance departments of industrial companies, finding satisfaction in accurately and swiftly handling transactions. As a means of broadening his horizon, he also completed an internship as an editor at the Flemish radio station “De Tijdloze”. This experience helped him discover the factors involved in targeting specific demographics at a media company. After deciding to pursue a career in marketing, applying for the Semetis Game was a no-brainer for Lucas. He had discovered Semetis through a guest lecture at the KUL, where he was impressed by Semetis’ innovative approach to reaching consumers. The unique and fun recruitment process reinforced his belief that this was the company he wanted to work for.
In his free time, you might find Lucas attending football games, discovering new music for his playlist, or (when the sun is shining at least) riding his bike. Although he grew up in the small town of Geel, he loves spending time in the lively environment of a big city like Brussels.
