
Mathias joined Semetis as a Digital Business Analyst, bringing with him a strong background in communication, business operations and marketing.
He began his academic journey with a degree in Communication Management at Hogeschool PXL before pursuing a Master’s in Corporate Communication at KU Leuven University. Wanting to broaden his understanding of business strategy and financial dynamics, he decided to complete a Master in Management. During his studies, he gained hands-on experience at Opmerkelijk, a marketing agency specializing in SMEs. There, he developed skills in supporting on- and offline campaigns and conducting competitive analyses. However, it was the digital marketing landscape that truly captivated him, leading him to focus on data-driven strategies and online brand development.
Outside of work, Mathias is passionate about sports and traveling. He plays for a local football team and is always eager to take on new athletic challenges. When traveling, he enjoys exploring destinations with a rich cultural history but also appreciates a relaxing beach getaway. Above all, he values quality time with friends and family, whether watching a game, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying good company.
