During her Master’s in Business Administration at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Kirsen started her career with a recruitment internship in the FMCG/Tech industry. After successfully finishing the internship, she got the opportunity to stay within the same company to work as a full-time Recruiter and to expand her knowledge in the field of HR.
During her four years of experience working together with and recruiting for different teams within the company, she discovered her huge interest in the dynamic and innovative world of Digital Marketing. Semetis seemed like the perfect next step for her to pursue this career switch.
Originally from the Netherlands, Kirsen relocated to Brussels in 2023 for her passion for field hockey and is currently playing in Uccle for Wellington’s first team. After a year of combining hockey in Belgium and work in the Netherlands, she decided to settle down in Brussels.
Besides hockey, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, playing other sports like padel or golf, and exploring new coffee places. Next to that, she is a big fan of traveling, with a solo-travel through Costa Rica as a personal highlight.
