We are seeking an experienced and visionary Innovation & Service Development Director to lead our company's efforts in driving innovation, enhancing and upselling our service offering. Someone who has both the vision and the capacity to execute on it so Semetis can be the Digital Agency of the future. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our agency, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients while staying competitive in the market.
I. Innovation Strategy:
- Drive a company-wide innovation strategy, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Empower team members for intrapreneurship on specific innovation projects.
II. Service Development:
- Lead research, ideation, and development of services, ensuring seamless integration into the existing portfolio.
III. Sales & Networking:
- Sell advanced services, leveraging existing partner networks for revenue generation.
- Leverage a network of existing partners (publishers, technology providers, agencies, clients) to bring our services to life and generate new revenue streams.
- Seek collaborations with new partnerships for industry recognition and establish thought leadership.
IV. Market Analysis:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and identify gaps and opportunities for new service development through market analysis.
V. Collaboration and Leadership:
- Align innovation initiatives with the overall business strategy in collaboration with leadership.
- Inspire and lead a team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
VI. Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand needs and present new services effectively.
VII. Project Management:
- Oversee successful execution of innovation projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
- Remain hands-on, assisting client teams in implementation and monitoring post-launch performance.
- A Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum of 7 years) in a similar role, preferably within digital media (ie: marketing agency, publisher, advertiser, tech partner)
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape and market dynamics (both the media ecosystem and the technologies behind it - such as AI, privacy, measurement, attribution, and more).
- Demonstrated success in bringing innovative products or services to market.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and business growth.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of either Dutch or French is a must.
